Clouds, Rain or Shine
No matter what the weather looks like this weekend, we will be out in full force this final weekend of the 2011 Santa Barbara City Council campaign!
We will be phoning and walking to talk to voters about our endorsed candidates: Deborah Schwartz, Iya Falcone and Cathy Murillo and to encourage them to turn in their ballot at the nearest drop-off center THIS Saturday or Tuesday.
It is expected to be dry this Saturday, November 5th but we are prepared for the unexpected with ponchos and plenty of phones! And cloudy weather is the perfect weather to walk in. It doesn't get too warm, you don't have to worry about sunburns and we'll get lots of people at home to talk to!
So come on out THIS weekend and join Assemblymember Das Williams, former Assemblymember Hannah-Beth Jackson, Council member Grant House and Santa Barbara School Board member Monique Limón to GET OUT THE VOTE with our candidates: Iya Falcone, Cathy Murillo and Deborah Schwartz!

MISSION
As Santa Barbara Democrats, we believe in a society and community based on solidarity and sustainability. We believe, quite simply that our country does better when everyone does better, and that we need to live in harmony with our environment. Our aim is to empower, educate and organize citizens and residents of Santa Barbara County. First and foremost, this means mobilizing voters to get to the polls and elect Democrats at all levels of government. We also hold elected officials accountable to the values and principles of our Democratic party, through public advocacy, coalition work, as well as through our endorsement process, which asks candidates seeking our support to pledge to put our shared values into practice.
