This year's City Council election will have a huge impact on the future of our community and we can have a voice in deciding the type of community we want to live in. The decisions and actions of the Santa Barbara City Council truly affects all those living on the Southern Central Coast. If you want our community to address transportation and housing needs of the middle class, return to being an environmental leader and keep government open and accessible to the public, then get involved now to make sure that we have a City Council that will address these issues.
We need to let voters know that they should mail their ballot no later than Friday, November 4th, inform them that drop-off centers will be open on Saturday, November 5th from 8am-5pm and Tuesday, November 8th from 7am-8pm, and educate them about our endorsed candidates: Deborah Schwartz, Iya Falcone and Cathy Murillo.

MISSION
As Santa Barbara Democrats, we believe in a society and community based on solidarity and sustainability. We believe, quite simply that our country does better when everyone does better, and that we need to live in harmony with our environment. Our aim is to empower, educate and organize citizens and residents of Santa Barbara County. First and foremost, this means mobilizing voters to get to the polls and elect Democrats at all levels of government. We also hold elected officials accountable to the values and principles of our Democratic party, through public advocacy, coalition work, as well as through our endorsement process, which asks candidates seeking our support to pledge to put our shared values into practice.
