Send It In, Santa Barbara!

If you live in the city of Santa Barbara, you should have received your ballot last week for the ALL vote-by-mail Santa Barbara City Council election. Hopefully, you have already filled it out for our endorsed candidates: Iya Falcone, Cathy Murillo and Deborah Schwartz and have encouraged all of your friends, family and co-workers to do the same. If you have not sent in your ballot yet, please do so as soon as possible! You can also drop off the ballot at City Hall, 735 Anacapa St., Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm. If you have any questions or have not received your ballot, please call the City Clerk's office at 805-564-5309.

To increase the power of your vote or if you do not live in the city and cannot vote in this election, you can help us educate fellow Democratic voters about this important election and our endorsed candidates. If you cannot volunteer, please consider making a donation to our efforts at https://secure.actblue.com/page/sbdems.

MISSION

As Santa Barbara Democrats, we believe in a society and community based on solidarity and sustainability. We believe, quite simply that our country does better when everyone does better, and that we need to live in harmony with our environment. Our aim is to empower, educate and organize citizens and residents of Santa Barbara County. First and foremost, this means mobilizing voters to get to the polls and elect Democrats at all levels of government. We also hold elected officials accountable to the values and principles of our Democratic party, through public advocacy, coalition work, as well as through our endorsement process, which asks candidates seeking our support to pledge to put our shared values into practice.
