KEEP OUR MOMENTUM GOING FOR 2010, JOIN OUR DONATE EVERY MONTH (DEM) PROGRAM
Santa Barbara Democrats stood up for their values and their city this fall. Seven of eight endorsements made by the party were supported by a winning margin among city voters. Democrats turned out in record numbers for an off-year election, and increased the Democratic majority share of the city’s vote.

The Party’s election and get out the vote efforts through mail, radio ads, door to door canvassing and phone banks paid off-- the City Council will continue to have Democrats in the majority and will continue to have a Democratic Mayor.

We wish to thank everyone who volunteered to help get the Democratic message out to voters this year. Whether you were among the hundreds of people who knocked on doors, called voters, displayed a lawnsign for one of our candidates, or just let your friends and neighbors know who the party endorsed and who you were voting for, we thank you for your service and your commitment to a Democratic Santa Barbara.

Please take a moment and make a contribution to the party. Because of our committed staff, interns and volunteers, a $50 contribution to the Santa Barbara Democrats' election operation is probably worth $500 of van Wolfswinkle’s money, and we are preparing for even bigger victories in 2010 in all parts of Santa Barbara County.
