At the September 6th meeting, the Committee will finish interviews for candidates seeking endorsement for this November's SB City Council race and vote on endorsements. Congratulations to Barbie Deutsch and John Schnittker who were elected at last night's meeting to fill open positions representing the 2nd and 3rd Districts, respectively. There are still openings in the 3rd District and most members of the Committee need alternates. | ||

Grassroots rally at City College on the West Campus Lawn, across from the Luria Library. Best estimate is that Obama's remarks will be around noon. Gates will open at 10:30 A.M. This event is expected to be extrememly crowded. Please plan on using alternate transportation or carpooling to get on to the campus grounds.
